Brahmanand Tiwari (Editor) Main Issue
I've been addicted to
'Main Issue' (The National News Magazine for several years now. I used to read
Main Issue Hindi & Main Issue English, though felt there was always extra
in there that was needed.
With Main Issue
magazine you find short, informative, to-the-point articles that keep me in the
loop of world events no matter where I am. I highly recommend this to anyone
wanting to be up to date with world & National News, but with little time
to spend on long articles.
They put the news into bite sized pieces using
different sources which they clearly identify and give a well-rounded picture
of what is happening in the India. If you want more information on a story,
it's easy to follow it further. Main Issue , for me, is a good fortnightly wrap-up of the news. Political slant aside
(in fairness the writers try to provide views from both sides), it gives a fair
overview of the fortnightly happenings in the news, entertainment, and business
arenas as well as touching on recent book and music releases.
The layout is done in an easy to follow graphic way with the world represented and the top news of the week clearly identified and where it originates. No more of this, where is that city they are talking about - you have a map right in front of you to show you.
The best magazine in
the world, period, I heard it's for
busy, intelligent people and I couldn't agree more. But, it's a magazine for
EVERYONE, not just the elite. You will learn a lot more about the world and the
Mumbai, It may be expensive but it is
worth it.
Awesome, awesome magazine!
